Charitable Activities

Since 2001, The Jordan Real Estate Group has been a participant in the Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk, a fundraiser that takes place in Point Pleasant, NJ. Our office staff has individually donated and helped raise a very significant and generous amount of money. With the support of our staff and the company contribution, our organization has been the top fund raiser in the Central Jersey region every year.

Let's come together to raise money and awareness for the Alzheimer's Association. Spread the word and join with your friends, family, and co-workers in support of those living with Alzheimer's disease and their loved ones.

The Jordan Real Estate Group supports the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. In the past we have held events from July thru October to raise money for this cause. Each year we have a spare change collection contest, bake sales, a raffle and denim day. With the money collected from these events, the generosity of our employees and a dollar for dollar match by the company, The Jordan Real Estate Group has been able to send the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation generous donations.

The Jordan Real Estate Group participates in the Adopt-A- Platoon program. This program is designed to help boost the morale of our service men and women fighting overseas for our country and to show our support for our American heroes fighting for our freedom. Periodically a package is sent to the platoon. In this package we send non-perishable items such as candy, popcorn, books, cards, crackers, cookies etc. In addition, we include a letter from one of our staff members. In the letter, we mention our families, the weather, our hobbies or any activities or events we would like to share with the platoon but keep it light and entertaining. We often receive a letter back from the Platoon leader thanking us for the letters, supplies and support.

The Matthew R. Ellis Memorial Scholarship Fund

The Matthew R. Ellis Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 2004 after the passing of a dear member of The Jordan Real Estate Group family. Every year in July a Golf Tournament is held at the Pine Barrens Country Club, Jackson, NJ. Money raised from the outing and generous sponsors, is used to fund scholarships for graduating seniors of Point Pleasant Beach High School, in Point Pleasant, New Jersey. Ocean of Love is a charitable organization dedicated to helping over 250 Ocean County, New Jersey children with cancer. Their purpose is to support the children and their families both financially and emotionally. The Jordan Real Estate Group's involvement with this organization is to give some of the children, parents and siblings an opportunity to escape reality for a weekend of fun. We have held a "Fun in the Sun" vacation at the "Ridin-Hy Ranch" in Upstate New York for the children and their families. This vacation is packed full of fun activities for all to enjoy including an authentic rodeo, horseback riding, swimming, boating, fishing, arts and crafts and nightly entertainment.
