Integrating WebTrax into your Mortgage Application Program

Many popular mortgage application progams are compatible with Web Trax. Click on your progam below to learn how simple it is to integrate with Web Trax.

  1. From your Desktop, launch Byte.
  2. Open the file you would like to export.
  3. From the Main Menu on the left side, select Communications, then double click Lenders.
  4. Double click the Export Fannie Mae File icon.
    - The Export Fannie Mae File window displays.
  5. For File Version, select Version 3.2.
  6. Select Create File.
    - A window informs you that the fnm file has been created successfully.
  7. Select OK.
    - The file is stored in the C:\TQS5\Temp folder under the Byte filename with an fnm extension.
  8. The fnm file is available for importing to Web Trax.

  1. From your Desktop, launch Calyx Point.
  2. Open the file you would like to export.
  3. From the Menu bar, select File, select Export To, and then select Fannie Mae 3.2 DO/DU (Local).
    - In the Export 1003 Data to Fannie Mae DO/DU window, the filename defaults to POINT.FNM. The folder is C:\Winpoint\Work. (You can change the filename if you prefer.)
  4. Select Save.
    - A window displays with the message:
    Exported to Fannie Mae file: C:\Winpoint\Work\[filename].FNM
  5. You may now import this file into Web Trax.

  1. From your Desktop, launch Contour Loan Handler 5.x.
  2. Open the file you would like to export.
  3. Select the ePASS button at the top.
  4. Select the Fannie Mae DU link on the left.
    - The Export Fannie Mae Format page displays.
  5. Select the Export Fannie Mae Format link.
  6. Specify the directory/folder location to which you want to save the exported file. (Make a note of the location for later use.)
    - Example: D:\contour\loans\samples\xyzborrower.1m1
  7. For Save As Type, select Fannie Mae Version 3.2.
  8. Select Save.
  9. You may now import this file into Web Trax.

Note: You can export Encompass files to DU 3.2 format through the Fannie Mae DO for ePASS link in ePASS. If you plan to export files to this format, we recommend that you set up the Fannie Mae DO for ePASS page as one of your My ePASS Service Provider links.

  1. On your Pipeline, open the loan you want to export.
  2. On the Action Panel, select the My ePASS tab, and then click the link to Fannie Mae DO for ePASS.
  3. In the Get Business Done section of the page, click the link to Export Loan to Fannie Mae Format.
  4. The Save As window displays.
  5. From the Save In dropdown list, select the folder in which you want to store the DU file.
  6. Enter a file name for the DU formatted file. (Encompass will automatically add the .FNM extension, identifying the file as Fannie Mae format.)
  7. From the Save as Type dropdown list, select Fannie Mae Version 3.2.
  8. Select the Save button.
    - If any data required for submission to Fannie Mae is missing, a message opens and details the fields that must be completed. Click Cancel to go back and edit the fields or click Continue to proceed without the information.
  9. When the file is created, click OK in response to the completion message.
    - The exported file is now in the specified folder with the file name you assigned.
  10. You may now import this file into Web Trax.

  1. Login to Genesis 2000 ePass.
  2. From the menu bar at the top, select Access.
  3. Select Fannie Mae.
  4. Select Export Fannie Mae Format 3.2.
    - Wait for the Export Fannie Mae Format window to display.
  5. From the Export Fannie Mae Format window, select the borrower you want to export and scroll to the right and make a note of the File No. for the borrower.
    - The exported file is saved with the File No. (a series of numbers) as the filename with the extension .dat. - For most users, the file is saved in the folder c:\Program Files\genesis\DATA\FNMA_WEB\EXPORT or in the folder C:\genesis\DATA\FNMA_WEB\EXPORT.
  6. You may now import this file into Web Trax.

  1. From your Desktop,launch Loansoft.
  2. Open the loan file you would like to export.
  3. From the menu bar, select File, select Import/Export.
  4. From the menu, select Export FNMA 3.2.
    Note: If the FNMA 3.2 selection is not available to you, you need to change your software configuration. Contact your representative at the lender who supplied Loansoft to you.
  5. Select Next.
  6. Make a note of the file number and location.
  7. Select Next for another loan or Close if finished.
  8. You may now import this file into Web Trax.
